“My mom superpower? Finding lost things no one else can!”
Each month we celebrate the heart of Prelove You: our members! This month we discuss parenting hacks and shopping habits with Babi Facioli, mom of Georgia, 6.
What’s the most unexpected gem you’ve found on Prelove You—something you didn’t know you needed until it popped up?
“A purple and pink rain coat.”
If Prelove You gave out awards, what would you win?
““Chaotic Cart Curator”. I may not check out right away, but my cart is an ever-evolving masterpiece of style and impulse.”
What’s something you swore you’d never do as a parent… and now totally do?
“Bribe with snacks.”
What’s your own go-to “we’re late but I want to look like I have it together” outfit or hack?
“Slick bun, oversized sunglasses, cute coat, and a confident “I woke up like this” vibe.”
Tell us about the last time your kid(s) completely humbled you in public.
“She told the cashier, “My mommy says we can’t buy more toys because she has too many credit cards already.” I just nodded and paid for the milk.”
What does “me time” actually look like these days? (Honest answers only.)
“Sitting in the car in total silence after drop-off.”
If parenting came with a soundtrack, what would your theme song be this week?
““Eye of the Tiger”—every morning is a battle. The enemy? Time, tangled hair, and locating matching socks.”
What’s your secret mom superpower that no one talks about—but totally should?
“Finding lost things no one else can. Socks, tiny toys, the one specific hair clip that must match the outfit.”
What’s one sustainable parenting hack or tip you wish you could text to your pre-mom self?
“Buy secondhand. Always. Clothes, toys, books—better for your wallet, better for the planet, and most things look used after five minutes of kid life anyway.”
What’s one tiny moment from the past week that made you stop and think, “Okay, this is the good stuff”?
“Georgia reached over, held my face with her sticky hands, and said “You’re the best mama I’ve ever had.” Which is technically true…but it still melted me.”
