  • Phone, Text, and Email Communications: Personal information may be collected when you communicate with us via phone, text, or email, or otherwise via customer support channels, such as call logs, email addresses, and the content of the communications.
  • Social Media: We collect likes, comments, and direct messages through interactions on our social media pages and other third-party social media sites such as Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter.
  • Online Advertisements and Emails: If you view our online ads or emails, we may collect information about your interaction with these communications, such as click-through rates and preferences.
  • Authorized Service Providers: We may also collect information through third-party service providers who are authorized to act on our behalf, including marketing firms and payment processors.
  • In one of our pop-up stores, in a virtual or online appointment or styling session, or at our event.

We may change this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted on the Website. The most recent version of this Privacy Policy is reflected by the version date located above. This Privacy Policy is not intended to and does not create any contractual or other legal right in or on behalf of any party.

The information we collect about you depends on how you interact with us or use our Services. In this section, we describe the categories of information we collect and the sources of this information. As further described below, we collect personal information directly from you, automatically through your use of the Website, and from other, third-party sources. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may combine the information we collect from publicly available or third-party sources. Personal information is information from or about you that can be used to uniquely contact, identify, or locate you.

 

Personal Information We Collect Directly From You. While the personal information we collect varies depending upon your use of the Website and our interactions with you, in general, we may collect the following personal information directly from you:

  • Style and fit preferences. When you interact with the Website and/or Services, we collect information such as the types of clothing, designs, categories and designers or styles you like;
  • Personal characteristics. When you interact with the Website and/or Services, we collect information such as your clothing size (our collection of personal characteristics does not include collecting any uniquely identifying biometric information);
  • Order and appointment details. When you interact with the Website and/or Services, place an order, or contact us, we collect information such as the contents of your order;
  • Approximate location information. When you interact with the Websites, we collect information such as where you reside and where you wear our products;
  • Feedback and ratings. If you participate in our surveys or questionnaires, we collect your responses and feedback, such as user satisfaction or other information related to your use of the Website, and any other information you so choose to provide, such as your experience with and opinions of our Services, whether you wore our products, how our products fit, and a picture of you wearing our products;

If you make a purchase, we collect payment information such as name, payment information, including payment method and associated billing information, credit card information, and billing and shipping address. When you order, exchange, or return products, or make another form of purchase, we collect information about the transaction, such as product details, price, and the date of the transaction.

  • Marketing and Promotions. If you agree to receive marketing communications from us, we collect your email, name, phone number, preferences. If you participate in promotions we offer, we collect your name and other information related to the activities available through the Website.
  • We also may collect information about your preferences, including communications preferences.
  • We may generate inferences about you based on other personal information we collect such as your preferences, behaviors, contact information, and demographics information.

Information We Collect Automatically

The personal information we automatically collect includes the below categories of information (collectively, “Usage Data”):

 

Transactional Information: When you order, exchange, or return products, or make another form of purchase, we collect information about the transaction, such as product details, price, and the date of the transaction.

 

Device, Browsing, Activity and Usage Information: We collect information about how you access our Website and/or Services, including IP address, browser type, domain names, access times, date/time stamps, operating system, language, device type, unique ID, Internet service provider, referring and exiting URLs, clickstream data, and similar device and browsing information. We also collect information about your activity on our Services, such as access times, pages viewed, links clicked, searches, features used, items viewed, time spent within the Website, your interactions with us within the Website, and other activity and usage information.

 

Location Information. We may also collect or derive location information about you, such as through your IP address. If you choose to enable location-based sharing with us through your device settings, we may collect precise location information to provide content that is more relevant to your location and to otherwise improve your interactions with the Website. You may turn off location data sharing through your device settings.

Information We Collect From Other Sources

We may collect and receive personal information from third parties, such as business partners, clients and customers, data analytics providers, Internet service providers, operating systems and platforms, public databases, email address list providers, and service providers. We may combine this information with personal information we collect directly from you, and use it to generate inferences about your preferences, behavior, or other characteristics. For example, we may make inferences about your approximate location based on your IP address; infer that you are looking to order certain products based on your preferences, browsing behavior, and past purchases; or infer that certain styles or items are more likely to fit based on your prior orders and feedback. We may also collect information from other users who want to send you a gift or use our referral services. This information may include your name, email address, and information sent by the other user. Additionally, if you create or log into your Prelove You account through a third-party platform (such as Facebook or Google), we will have access to certain information from that platform, such as your name, birthday, and profile picture, in accordance with the authorization procedures determined by such platform.

 

If you make a purchase from us, we work with a third-party payment processor to collect and process your payment information.

3. Use of Information

We use your personal information for various purposes, including:

  • Providing Information, Products, or Services. To provide the Services to you and otherwise fulfill your requests for information, products, or services, such as processing orders and providing customer support.
  • Transaction Management. To manage transactions, such as processing payments, shipping products, and managing returns.

We also use this information to send administrative information to you, for example, information regarding the Website, your account, and changes to our terms, conditions, and policies.
  • Marketing and Promotions. For marketing and promotional purposes. For example, to send you information about the Website, such as newsletters and other marketing content that you sign up to receive.

We use aggregate and de-identified data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you for any purpose. We will not attempt to re-identify such information, except as permitted by law.

We may also use information about you with your consent for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection.

4. USE OF COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES

We engage others to provide analytics, serve advertisements, and perform related services across the web. These entities use cookies, pixels tags, web beacons, SDKs, device identifiers, and other technologies to collect Usage Data. We may allow third parties to collect this Usage Data on our behalf and to retain and use this Usage Data themselves. We use this Usage Data to, for example, analyze and understand how you access, use, and interact with us through the Website, to identify and resolve bugs and errors in the Website, to assess, secure, protect, optimize, and improve the performance of the Website, for marketing and advertising purposes, analytics purposes, and to personalize content in the Website. Third Party Analytics.  We use third party tools, which are operated by third party companies, to analyze ad traffic and usage of the Website. These tools collect data about your interaction with the Website via the cookies and through the standard implementation. This data may be used for purposes including delivering banner advertisements and other advertising tailored to your interests when you visit certain websites.

 

Cross-Device Tracking. We and our providers may use the information we collect about you within the Website and on other third-party websites and services to help us and these third parties identify other devices that you use (e.g., a mobile phone, tablet, other computer, etc.) to interact or engage with us or the Website.

 

Third-Party Profiling. Do Not Track. Currently, the Website does not recognize “Do Not Track” requests. You may, however, disable certain tracking by disabling cookies or as described in the Your Privacy Choices section below.

  • Marketing and Analytics Provider We may also disclose your Usage Data to marketing and advertising networks, data analytics providers, and other companies who provide marketing or analytics services on our behalf.

We strive to protect the information covered by this Privacy Policy, and use reasonable measures to maintain appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures and safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, use or disclosure of the information we collect via the Services. However, no method of electronic transmission or storing of data is guaranteed to be 100% secure, and therefore, we do not guarantee that the information collected will never be accessed, used, or disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Policy.

7. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES

Account Information

 

You can access, modify, and delete certain information stored within your account by logging into your account and visiting the “MY ACCOUNT,” and “My Details” sections.

 

Communications Preferences

 

You may opt out of receiving text messages or promotional emails from Prelove You by following the instructions in those communications or, for promotional emails, by updating your communication preferences in your account. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations. We use web beacons in our emails to track email open rates, monitor engagement with email content, and customize future offerings based on your interests.  Web beacons collect limited information such as cookie identifiers, timestamps, and URL data. You can disable web beacons by adjusting your email settings to disable HTML images or selecting text-only email format.

 

Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies

 

As described in Cookies and Other Technologies, Prelove You uses cookies and similar tracking technologies for various purposes, including analyzing visits to and use of our Services, understanding how consumers are interacting with our marketing communications, and delivering targeted advertising for Prelove You or others on our Website, or other companies’ websites or mobile apps. However, we do not engage in such activities as described under applicable state privacy law, so there is no need to exercise this right.

 

8. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Minors under 13 are not permitted to use our Services, and must request an adult, parent or guardian provide any Personal Information in connection with the Services. We do not knowingly allow anyone under the age of 13 to register for an account or make purchases.  We will delete any Personal Information later determined to have been collected from a minor under the age of 13.

For your convenience, some hyperlinks may be posted on the Website that link to other websites not under Prelove You’s control. Prelove You is not responsible for, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to, the privacy practices of those sites or of any companies that Prelove You does not own or control. Prelove You does not endorse any of these websites or pages, the services or products described or offered on such sites or pages, or any of the content contained on those sites or pages. Prelove You encourages you to seek out and read the privacy policy of each website that you visit. In addition, should you happen to initiate a transaction on a website linked to this Website, the information that you submit to complete that transaction becomes subject to the privacy practices of the operator of that linked website.
